October AND November Sew & Share

Sew & Share X 2!

October's and November's Sew & Share are combined this month, so get ready to feast on all these wonderful projects!

Debbie's cute outfit for her grandson. The pattern is Children's Corner's Johnny, and the plate is Baby Whales from Cross-Eyed Cricket. The material is a cotton windowpane plaid.

Linda's beautiful christening gown with machine embroidery

Linda's delightful Halloween dress. Lucy by Children's Corner in black pique with quilting cotton for the hem treatment.

Susan's adorable Christmas ornament, designed by member Tawn. Tawn's smocking design and pattern are in the latest SAGA magazine.

Leslye's sunsuit, a Mollie Jane Taylor pattern with ribbon trim.

An adorable dress made by Leslye, using Children's Corner's Madeline. The pleated trim was made with Gail Doane's Perfect Pleater.

Another fun creation from Leslye using Michie's Bubble pattern and an applique design from Applique For Kids.

Leslye used Michie #121 to make this cutey. The embroidery design is from SWAK.

A sweet creation from Roberta. The Baby Bishop is made using "Meadow Sweet" Liberty fabric.

Leslye finished this Susan O'Connor class project. Beautiful bullions!

 Tawn's Christmas creation

Leslye's beaded scissors fob, a Susie Gay class.

Leslye's completed class project from Beverly Sheldrich's class

Leslye was definitely busy last month! She also finished this Jane Briscoe silk ribbon crazy patch pin cushion. So beautiful!

Wow! What a labor of love. Leda made this counted crossstitch of Texas A&M University's Corps of Cadets' Senior boots and hat (called a lid by those in the Corps). This was done on Aida 14 cloth using 8 different thread colors.

Leda's beautiful quilt. How accomplished she is!

A unique Show & Share--not Sew & Share. This pleater box was made by Karen's husband for her pleater and threads. We all want one now!

Adorable! Nikki made this using Michie Mooney #138. The smocking design is her own. Her grandson wore this after his baptism when the baptismal gown came off.

Nikki began this project at a SAGA Retreat class. It is a Debbie Glenn pattern using machine applique and shadowwork.

Roberta made this outfit using the Tucked Infant Daygown for the top. Very cute!

This ensemble was also made by Roberta. The top is Peaches & Cream from Australian Smocking & Embroidery magazine #85. The jacket is Robin's Little Jacket in minky, lined with pink poplin.

Roberta made this dress from Children's Corner's Mary De pattern, using Creative Needle's Annabel smocking plate. She said she pleated all 60", and that it was too much fabric to lay flat even after interfacing the bodice. Lesson learned for Roberta and the rest of us.

A pre-made ready-to-smock bishop was used by Beth to smock the Cheryl Loehmann plate from Creative Needle that was our challenge plate earlier this year.

Beth made this cute outfit using Lacy Pique Top and Capri Pants, both by Gail Doane.

Sweet bullion rosebuds on the buttons!

Beth made this Gail Doane Yoke Dress using Dotted Swiss. The plate was included in the pattern. Lovely!

Brenda's Periwinkle Quilt using Jelly Rolls given to her by other MOS members after a class. The pattern for the quilt is from Missouri Star Quilt Company.

Susan's needlework is always, always perfectly beautiful. This needleroll is from Karen Heller Designs, and was a program project at her embroidery guild.

Teresa's incredible Double Wedding Ring Quilt. It was 19 years in the making, and it is worth the wait!

Hope you've enjoyed all of these projects! Have a wonderful holiday season!!
