May Show and Tell

Midnight Oil Smockers had a fun program to learn about a few unusual sewing feet.  We used the rolled hem foot, gathering foot, and ruffler foot.  Those that wanted kits to experiment with their machines went home to make samples for future projects.

Our teachers for May are pictured above.

The following pictures came from the Houston day meeting:

A finished doll collar from Debbie Glenn's recent class.

A birthday romper for a grandson.

A darling, lavender smocked bishop.

The Rose dress done for a first communion.  The belt was from an older copy of AS&E, which was a great addition to the dress.

Oliver+S dress done in frogs!

Children's Corner Abbie done in a Fabric Finder's print.

Wendy Schoen's girls dress done in a Nashville Cotton's print.

Olabelhe dress from Moda fabric.

Still Remembering Easter Clothes

This is Chery Williams' Eaton Ensemble for the Jacket and McCalls 2637 for the shorts.

Below is a romper from Creations by Michie pattern #133.  Both boys outfits are made with blue and white stripped seersucker.  The romper collar is white pique.

One creative Grandma made these two sweet boys look great on Easter.
