September Show and Share

The night meeting enjoyed some beautiful eye candy.  Hope you enjoy our pictures!

Dress from Australian Smocking and Design

Close-up of the smocking.

I think this was from a Debbie Glenn class.

It had beautiful edging on the sleeves.

Simple smocking, but stunning.

Baby bishop.

Smocked for a client who expects a new baby girl.

Children's Corner Patty

Nice details.

Australian Smocking and Embroidery dress

The collar and smocking were perfect!

Another Australian Smocking and Embroidery dress

Great colors in the smocking.

Cherry sundress.

Back of the cherry sundress.

American Girl dress to match.

Some little girl's dream!

Not to forget the boys and Elmo!

Children's Corner pattern.

Dress pattern from Sew Beautiful.  The picture does not do this dress justice.  It is a dark purple with black smocking.  Stunning for the older girl.

The delightful jumper won a design contest on Farmhouse Fabrics!

Cute applique!

We even had a live model with this little guy in his smocked romper.

See you in October!  Keep Smocking!!!!

Rebecca's Wardrobe and the WINNER

This is a pictorial of Rebecca and her heirloom wardrobe constructed by various Midnight Oil Smockers.  We raffled off the doll and wardrobe at the American Sewing Guild's National Convention.  The lighting in the convention center was for general purposes, not fine photography.

The drawing.........

and our WINNER!

The winner happened to be a metro Houstonian and she was very pleased with her win!
